From the second we met and spoke with Janice, we knew we liked her and immediately didn't want to work with anyone else. She's very friendly and personable and didn't throw us into looking and pressuring us to buy right away. She sat us down, asked us our goals, what we looked for in a house, and gave us a lot of information on homes. We told her on the first day that we just wanted to explore our options and see what kind of homes are out there. Even after the fact, she offered to take us around to look at houses, "Just to look" was her saying. After a few homes, we knew what we wanted in a house and what kinds of homes were available to us in our price range.
 
Janice took her time with us and was very patient. On some days, we'd go and look at houses all day and even though she knew we were just looking and not going to buy anything, she still put us on her calendar and made time for us. Hearing our friends' experiences on home buying, the realtor would not even take their time to show you houses until you were ready to buy, but like we said earlier, we landed a gem when we met Janice.
 
When we got discouraged on foreclosed homes and short sales, Janice decided to show us some new homes, which we found more appealing. We decided to stick with that and kept looking at new homes. One day, Janice brought us to see Pacific Mayfield - Cottonwood and we fell in love with plans 4 and 6, and by this time, we didn't think we'd ever be able to manage to get a house.
 
Once we were able to save up a little bit more, we thought we were ready to get our dream house at Cottonwood. We worked with two other brokers and lenders, who, in the end, just dropped us after wasting our time for months. We expressed our frustration to Janice and in a matter of hours, she was able to help us work with Scott from Provident Bank.  Scott got us going on all the paper work, and within weeks, we were able to close on our dream home!
 
We had lists of obstacles going against us to try and prevent us from getting the house and Janice never gave up on us and even asked if there was any way that she could help. She never lost faith in us and encouraged us up until the end. There's no surprise Janice is in the real estate industry, she's phenomenal at it and knows what she's doing. We would recommend her to anyone who needs a great realtor to guide them along into the homebuying process.
